Web Modeling

Web-enabled Modeling and The National Map

This project will demonstrate the application of The National Map to web-enabled modeling by deriving model parameter values from data extracted from The National Map, and by recommending modeling tools to be developed for The National Map. The project will use the Agricultural Non-Point Source (AGNPS) pollution model as a case study. AGNPS is a cell-based model that uses information derived from land cover, soils, and elevation data.
